Pool Time

Today my good friend Stacy text me to see if I would like to go to the pool with her and the kids. Stacy is Muffs mom. I love that Stacy and I have such a good friendship. It helps with everything in life.

So I was all about going to the pool the sun was out and I need a little sun so why not. When we got there the clouds came out and the sun was hiding. Stacy's kids jumped in and they wanted me to see. Erin watch me, Erin Swim with me.....


So I took the plunge to get into the water.....I got my first foot in and the water was so cold that I think my whole body turned blue. But I was a big girl and I took the dive.
We had so much fun the pool is only 5ft so I can still touch the bottom because the kids were all over me.

After we got out of the pool the kids ran around and Stacy and I got to talk....


It was funny because the kids were so cold that they did not want to swim anymore after only being in there for about 15 min. After they were out of the pool they found a puddle to play in next to the pool.

It was really cute. They were finding pine cones and putting them info the puddle.

After about 10 min the kids were ready to go. It was a short pool time but we did have a good time. Hope to go again soon and stay a little longer....

The Summer todo List

Happy Wednesday Blog World. Wednesday is my favorite day of the week because it is Youth Group Day....

Well with having the next two months off I decided to make a To do List of things I would like to do while I'm off. Last time I was off of work I was having back surgery so running all around the state of Michigan was not in the question.....The only thing that might stop me on some of these is Money....As nice it is to get unemployment is still is not what you make when you are working the real job and being on unemployment or not you still have to pay the bills.

So here I go with my Todo List:

1.Take the kids to the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum


2. Go to the Detroit Institute of Arts



3. Go to the Art Barn

5. Go kayaking for the first time....


6. Go to the Cereal Festival in Battle Creek


7. Take the kids to the Children’s Garden Day


8.Ann Arbor Art Fair


9. Take a week to Saugatuck and Holland and see Mike and Laura


10. Go to the Howell Hot air Balloon festival



But most of all Lost WEIGHT and use the gym membership I pay for every month.

Zoo Trip

Well I have been really slacking on the Blog end of my life.....When I was off of work because of my back surgery I felt like I had a ton to talk about and then I went back to work and I think I got blog block from working so much and running a Youth Group. Well about a week ago we got news that my store is closing till the new one opens so I have the summer off so Lets unblock the blog block and get back to it.....


Well I have been meaning to post this. A few weeks ago I took my youth group to the Detroit Zoo.



I feel so lucky to have a big zoo by us....This one is only about 20 min away from my house and we also have the Toledo Zoo like an hour away. When I was in College in West Palm Beach, Fl I went to school with people that have never been to the zoo because there was not one close to where they lived. That is so crazy to me.



I was really excited because Muff got to go with us. I love watching my teen with him. They just think he is so cute and they love him so much but with a face like his how can you not love him.



When we were at the zoo I wanted a peacock to come close to me and open their feather. That was not working, but we did get close to one. They are such a AWESOME bird, and if you know me I'm not the lover of animals.



We were so lucky to have great weather and just a great time spending it with my kids. Here are some more pictures from our Zoo Trip I hope you enjoy.....
