Daddy's Girl

On Tuesday there was a very special thing that happened......

It was my dads Birthday. Now I know its Thursday but with being so sick on Monday with food positioning and now fighting a head cold I was not able to sit down and tell you about my dad....

If you have ever said you are a daddy's girl well then you understand how I feel about my dad

My dad the man that can tell you how to get anywhere...(For real one time I was lost when I lived in Savannah, GA I called my dad that lives in Waterford, MI and he told me how to get where I needed to go) The man that love his family, that can make anything out of wood, The man that always has to have a hat on when he leaves the house (lol), The man that loves and lets my mom be herself(and watch what she wants to watch on TV), The man that loves his church people, The man that loves the stupid dog that lives in our house, The man that lets hubby and I live in his house, The man that can cook.... but most of all the man that Loves God....

If you have never meet my dad you are missing out. He has such a kind face and a warm smile. He welcomes everyone and does not judge people. He is giving and a prayer worrier for God. He puts others before him self. He works a 60 hour a week job down by where we live and then drive 3 hours every weekend to pastor his church up in Oscoda, MI. From watching him be a pastor he has inspired me in my ministry as well. His love for his people is amazing.

When I was a little girl my dad was the only person that could brush my hair ( my mom was so mean half of my head would be in the brush) when we were in the stores I had to hold my dads hand and he use to Tap dance with me in the Kitchen. I was a dancer so I was always dancing around the house and my dad would ask me to teach him some tap steps I was working on and we would go to town.

Every Christmas we always get the special dad gift. I found out this year (hat in photo this years dad gift) that his dad use to do the same thing. Sometimes he would not know what to get me and he would have me pick out stuff that I thought mom would like then Christmas morning there in the dad gift was what I thought he was giving to mom lol

My dad has always been there for me....He is one of my best friends and I love him very much. I love our long talk that we have. Even if i roll my eyes sometimes(come on you know you do it to)
I love you dad I hope you had a great Birthday....

Dad I hope you have many more great Birthdays...Thank you for being such a great dad to me I love you

Till Next Time........
P.S. don't think I love my dad more then my mom...I don't just different
