What a weekend

SO for a long time now I have been wanting to get into Photography. When I was in high school I took a ton of photography classes and also in college and I have always loved it.  So this weekend was the weekend to start playing around with it.

ONE of the great things about Michigan is that you can take a 4 hour drive and you feel like you are in a different place, I went to puremichigan.org and found a fall color tour. We did the tour that goes around the thumb.
I got the boys up early and we headed out on the road. We Took I75 to M25. When we were driving down M25 I saw a barn that I just fell in love with. I pulled the car over and whipped the camera out. Muff what thinking I was crazy but I love the picture that I got from it.

We stopped at a state part that had a great walk out to Lake Heron. I found some great spots to take some Pictures here are my top three favorites.

WHEN we hoped back into the car we started looking for spot #2 Depner Farms Corn Maze. On puremichigan.org this is what they say about Depner Farms Corn Maze Depner Farms is Michigan's HOTTEST NEW FALL FAMILY ATTRACTION! Come on down to the farm for more family fun in the country than you can shake a stick at. Corn maze, pumpkins, hay rides, concessions, mini-maze, kids activities and a whole lot more! Open weekends during the Fall season. For details, visit our website at DepnerFarms.com "Yee-Ha!!" Well we drove around looking for it. I had hubby call and find out where they are at and the man told us that due to health that he did not do the corn maze this year but we could stop by to get pumpkins.

WHEN we got there the man greeted us at our car and told us to go and get as many pumpkins as we wanted and there was no cost because it was the end of the season. He also told us to go and walk around the woods and to take our time. We had so much fun finding our 10 pumpkins that we took. I felt so bad that I had to give him some money. The man was so kind and I was able to take some great Pictures there also. Here are my favorites from the farm

THE best part is that the rain did not start until we got the pumpkins into the car....Thank you to the very kind man that owns the farm.

I had so much fun taking the pictures I think I might put some of the pictures on my etsy account...You never know someone might want to buy one.

Hope Now

HAVE you ever been driving in your car and a CD that plays all the time come on and a song that you have hard a million times all of the sudden just talks to you?

WELL that happened to me today.

THE song is called Hope Now by Addison Road......I hope that if you are feeling a little hopeless right now in your life know that God is always with he. Let me be your hope.

HERE are the lyrics and the song

If everything comes down to love
Then just what I am afraid of

When I call out Your name
Something inside awakes in my soul
How quickly I forget I’m Yours
I’m not my own
I’ve been carried by You
All my life

CHORUS
Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

When my life is like a storm
Rising waters all I want is the shore
You say I’ll be okay and
Make it through the rain
You are my shelter from the storm
I’m not my own
I’ve been carried by You
All my life

CHORUS
Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

You’ve become my hearts desire
I will sing Your praises higher
Cause Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free

NOW most of you know that Fall and Winter are not my favorite thing at all. I'm a summer person all the way. I love it HOTTTTTTT......and everything that goes with Summer. Well I take that back I hate the bugs anyways back to what I was going to blog about.

So I'm sitting in my bed freezing to the point that I can't feel my noise. My dad always tells me that being cold is in my head so  I'm trying to think of all the things that I love about fall.... So here is my list...

Fall Nail Polish Color

The Fall Leave Color

Going to the Pumpkin Patch and Carving Pumpkins

But most of all I love that I don't have to save my legs all the time :)

What do you love most about Fall?

Take me out to the Ball Game

"Take me out to the ball game,

Take me out with the crowd.

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,

I don't care if I never get back,

Let me root, root, root for the home team,

If they don't win it's a shame.

For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

MY bother JJ the big ball player

MY younger brother Jason plays baseball every Tuesday. I never get to go because I always have to work. I was super excited when I found out that I did not have to work and that my good friend Sarah was coming down for the game.

So I dressed like all girls should dress (leggings, flip flop, cute top and great accessories ;) ) and went to the game. It was cold but I was there. I was really excited to see Sarah. We are good friends but we don't get to see each other a lot because she lives over a hour away from me.

SEE how cute I look hehe...Anyways The team has a group of very good fans. They are there rain or shine, cold or warm. They are the people that cheer the team on all the way to the play offs.

GREAT job JJ keep up the hard work.... Hope you have another great season next year.

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday dear MOM Happy Birthday to you....

Friday was my moms birthday. One thing to know about me is that I love MY birthday. Most of the time I don't even remember other peoples birthdays. But because my dad is always up north on my moms birthday I always want to make sure that she has a lot of people that love her around her.

So I sent out a e-mail to friends and family to have them meet us at Olive Garden for dinner. I also told them not to tell her.

They would not let me make a reservation so I was scared that I would not have a table by the time my mom got there. good news we got a table before she got there. Muff was able to come he was so excited that it was a surprise

Muff went to a birthday party that day that is why his face is painted lol....he would not wash his face. Kids got to love them.

My moms best friend Colleen(that's Colleen in the middle) drove her to Olive Garden. When they got to the restaurant Colleen told my mom that she thinks that they already have a table, my mom was like what did you do Colleen? then they came around the corner and we all yield Happy Birthday. My mom was so surprised her face turned red she was so cute.

So it took forever for us to get our food ordered so we had mom open her gifts and cards. Some of the cards were really funny. You know the ones about your boobs falling to your knees all that kind of stuff.
Then we got our food and my food was not cooked good at all. I was telling our waitress about how bad my food was and she was giving Muff the ketchup he asked for and she drooped it in my lap....I had like 1/2 a jar of ketchup in my lap. So the best thing that came out of it was that my food was free.

All in all my mom had a great birthday and we had a great time with friends and family.... Happy Birthday mom I'm so blessed to have you as my mom. I love you

Breakfast of Champs

My Pictures works again :) happy happy joy joy......

THE other day one of my teens (I'm the Youth Pastor at my church if you did not know) asked if all of the Sr. High girls could meet up for breakfast. Now most of you don't know me that well but morning are not my thing. So I told her I had to look over my schedule at work and see what day I closed and we could do breakfast.

SO I let the girls know what day, time and place. I got my butt out of bed at 5:30am so I could meet them.

WE went to Kens Coney in Ortonville, MI. Just a cute little coney. The girls were so excited that we were meeting for breakfast

WHEN we got there the corner booth was full of Teachers from their High School. The first thing they said was oh crap look at all of the teachers lol. So we found the table that was the farthest away from the teachers.

WE sat down and started to look at the menu's. Of course I wanted to take pictures so I could blog about this so the girls thought it would be funny to put their menu's on top of their heads. Teen age girls need I say more.

WE talked about everything. Boys, school, sports, jobs, parents, youth group, and NYC. We had so much fun laughing and bonding. I would have to say one of the best morning I have had in a long time.

I have such a cool group of girls(and boy this was just a girl day). They all come from different homes and things that they do at school. One is a Varsity Cheerleader, two are band kids and one is a freshman volleyball star, but they all love each other and support each other. That is the one thing that I talk to my kids the most about, being there for each other. That Wed night youth group is more then just a hang out time. That we are family and we need to be family to each other and to others around us that is how we will show God and Gods love.

AFTER we were done eating I took the girls to school. For me I went home and went back to bed :) If you have never spent time with teens you should they are so awesome. I thank God everyday for my call into ministry.

Till Next Time.....

So Sad

I'm very sad...My image link is not working on my blog :( how can I share my cool world with you all if I can't put pictuers on my blog....so you will not hear from me for the next few days so I can get this fixed

I will miss you all and happy 10/10/10 day

Fun Run.....

MUFFS school only does one fund-raiser a year(thank you Jesus) and its called Oakwoods Fun Run.

EACH kid goes around and gets sponsors for the run. Then one fall day the kids go out and run in a loop for 20 min. There is a count point for both the boys and the girls where there are volunteers marking the sticker on each of there backs to keep track of how many times they go around the circle.

HUBBY and I were there cheering on Muff. Muff is so cute he runs really fast about 1/2 way around the circle then he is all pooped out and when he sees us and his mom he wants to sit on the sidewalk with us...

BUT there was this one kid there OMG he is a runner the DJ that was there was calling him the flash he was so fast.

I love going out and cheering the kids on. Muff was on Team red.

I love this picture of Muff I think its the only time I have seen him look athletic. Logan is a super smart and artistic kid. Not very athletic bless is little heart....Little bit is the athlete out of the Boys.

I was also really excited that Hubby could come. Hubby works over night and he misses out on a lot of stuff that is in the AM because he is sleeping but this year the fun run started at 11:30am and not 8:00am so he was able to come. Muff was so excited to see him. He was telling his teacher that his real dad not his step dad was here today....So cute

ALL in all the kids had a great time and Muff raised $100 this year....

GREAT Job Muff

Till Next Time......
