We are up and running

I'm excited to say that back in December we moved into a house!!!!!! Now I know you are thinking Erin did you forget what month it is??? Its June!!!! Yes I know but it has taken this long to make the house really feel like a home

I have been Junking and repurposing cool finds for months now and I'm so in love with my new place. I'm so excited to show you my before and after photos of our cute little house.

A little back story on it. We are living a in a cute little tri level. The funny thing about the house is that I use to babysit the kids that lived here at one time.....That kind of sounds like a horror story behind it but not. Just great friends and a great opportunity for the hubby and I...We still need to do a few things like get the garage cleaned out, the bathroom pained and the boys a bunk bed but that is the fun of moving.

Glade Expressions

I have been working with bzz agent. I get to try now product and tell you all about it. 

One of the products that I have been able to try is the new Glade Expressions...

I love this....My hubby cant really handle hard smells it makes him sick so I was a little worried to bring this home. After I picked it up at Walmart I set mine up. It looks really nice and the smell is great. 

The Hubby got home and was like whats that smell it smells so good...Score now I have a air freshener that I can have in the house that the hubby likes and it does not bug him...Again best part it does not look like a normal air freshener.

Being Creative

Well It has been about 3 months that we have been living in our new house and I have been making things like crazy...I love Decorating a house so much...Being Creative anyway brings me so much joy...So here are just a few pics of some of the cool find I have from over the years that I now can display or items I have made :) 

This is my Coffee Table in the living Room...I found this at the shop in Michigan...I still need to stain it a gray color :) 

I love it I wanted something different for my table and when I saw this and it was only $28.00 It had to come home with me 

 Being the Makeup Guru that I am When we moved into this house and we had a extra room we all know it was going to be mine.....Makeup and crafting 101 goes on here...And with a makeup/crafting room at girl needs lots of glitter. I made this light cover with the cover that was on the wall some glitter and...well I cant tell all my secrets ;) 

 This is my version on a kitchen curtain.....I wanted something very different  My hubby found the windows when he was on a job one day. We have had them in storage for a long time now. When I was unpacking I found them and know that this was what I was going todo with them. The wood was a dark brown but I wanted white 1. because it makes the color glass stand out more and 2. the white looks better with my mustered yellow wall. I love how in the am the sun just shows off the colors in the class so well. 

With moving the Hubby and I have made a promise not to eat out all the time and Not being a cook and working crazy hours all the time I needed something that I could put on the wall and know what I had to 1. pull out of the freezer or 2. stop at the store and pick up. I made our menu out of an old window some spray paint and chalk board paint. I love it and it makes making meals so much easier :)

Meijer Mounted Photos Review

Hey guys,

 

 

    Well I had the opportunity to be apart of the Meijer Mounted Photo campaigned with bzzagent.

 

To start off if you don't have a Meijer's by you I'm very sad for you.....I think its like a 24 hour up scaled wal-mart. Its one of my fav stores and when I was in college and needed a place to go Meijer and I had lots of time together.

 

Well anyways in there photo area they now have one hour mounted photo's....If you know me I love taking picters I have picters all over so when I got asked todo this campaign I just had to...

 

Today I went to Meijer the woman working in the photo area was very nice. She asked if I needed help I told her I was there to make a mounted photo. I got the photo off of my facebook

 

 

This is one of my Favorite picters of my cute little family....

 

So after I picked the photo that I wanted to be mounted, my family and I went to get dinner. I came back about 45 min later and it was done. :)

 

When the woman showed it to me I was surprised how nice it looked. I thought it was going to look super grainy because I got the photo off of facebook but it was not that bad.

and its about 1 inch thick

 

 

 The really nice thing is that you can hang it or it can stand up on a table. It has a bar that you screw in to make it stand up

The cost of this is pretty low. The one that I have is a 5x7 and its about $9.00. You can also get it in a 8x10 and 11x14. I'm not sure of the price.

 

I think this is a great gift idea. It was very easy to make and it was not a bad price.

Erin's Area

Do you have an  area in your house that is just for you????

 

A place that you can get away and do something that takes you away from the crazy world.

I'm so lucky that I an area that I can craft and do makeup.

 

 

I have had so many people ask to see all of my makeup and because I'm a messy person I don't always want people in my room so I thought I would make a video showing my craft/makeup get away.

 

Now just so you know yes I have a lot of makeup...I always say not ask much and some and more then otheres :) and Yes I have a lot of stuff in one little area but this is my area and I love it :)

attention target shoppers

Hi everybody The other day I was at Target......

I feel like when you walk into Target its like walking into the twilight zone lol

No matter what you are going to walk out spending $50.00 or more....

I went there to get work jeans for the hubby I walked out with

The other day I was watching Youtube(always looking for new makeup tips) and I came across this thing called the $20.00 challenge....So I thought I would try it.

The rules are that everything you use on your face in total has to be no more then $20.00....

Holy crap that was hard but I did it...I will tell you more about that soon

Then still looking in makeup(bad Erin) I saw this kit by Sonia Kashuk its a Limited Edition "Escape To Paradise" Face Palette

I'm such a sucker for any pallets that look like summer lol

I also found the smokey eye kit from Physicians Formula and some sally Hanson stick on nails all on clearance

Can I just say for the $20.00 that the Sonia Kashuk kit was...so worth the money it is amazing. I did do a look with it and I will post it soon with my review.

How many times have you found a makeup look on Pintrest????? You post it on your makeup board and sometimes you go back to it and think oh man I hope that look and other times you are like why did I pin that look lol

I love getting makeup ideas from pintrest. The other day I was looking at my makeup and skin care 101 board http://pinterest.com/emdesigns4380/makeup-and-skin-care-101/ and I came across this look that I love....Its a little out there almost a little runway (good thing I work in the makeup work I can get a little runway sometimes) I thought why not do that look today

I love the bight coral and the gold liner with that nude like...Love it....

So here is my inspired look....Know this will not look 100% the same. She has much lighter skin then me and brown eyes and about 200 pounds lighter then me....But I was fun doing the look

So can I just talk about this pallet for a hot min.....I love love love it.... A few weeks ago I talked about the too faced summer pallet..I HATED it...Hated it..So I took it back and got this one and I'm so glad I did ...The colors are fab...I love it...I will do a few looks with it soon

So here it is my review on the Green Apple Peel

It has a light brown color to it and it does have a funky smell to it

I wish it smelled a little better but when you go organic its not about the smell

 

Start with a clean face...I have been using purity by Philosophy and always my clarisonic

Take a small amount and place a nice layer on your face...Do not put on eye lids or lips
